The Houston Astros defeated the Philadelphia Phillies in Game 6 to clinch the World Series title at Minute Maid Park. Not only in the postseason, but the Astros have been ruthless right from the start of the 2022 regular season.
Apart from the Astros Winning the Fall Classic, Lance McCullers Jr.s action has been getting quite an attention. Notably, while celebrating the championship victory, the Astros pitcher dissed their American League rivals, the New York Yankees.

The speech by Lance came after their second World Series back to their clubhouse, and the celebration was about to begin. But it did not get the appreciation from the fans that Lance might be looking for after the video went up on Twitter. When talking about the game, the Dusty Baker-led team controlled the entire game. Whether it was from the mound or the plate, the Astros did not give a chance to the National League champs.
What did Lance McCullers Jr. of the Houston Astros say about the New York Yankees?
Before popping up the champagne in his hand, McCullers appreciated his team to get to where they got after winning over the Phillies. Given the Astros won the Fall Classic, it was a big thing for the franchise and players. The Astros pitcher continued to talk about the teams they won over to reach the World Series. Notably, the Yankees were also one of the victims of the American League champs.

For his clubhouse’s win, baseball fans congratulated him. But for taking a diss on every team that they won over, McCullers became a target of mockery.
