It was a tough year for the New York Yankees’ Captain Aaron Judge. The 2022 MVP was injured and missed many games, which left him behind in the competition. And when he struggled on his return, many thought it to be the end of the season. But that does not seem to be the case. The 2023 All-Star is countering all the surrounding negativity with ease. The same happened when he came to the plate against the Houston Astros.

Aaron Judge, being the leader in the team, showed the same as he countered all the boos to homer it past the Astros defense. Yankees insider Bryan Hoch expressed, “Aaron Judge was loudly booed before that at-bat. He responded by homering off the train. It’s 6-2.”

With this, Judge claimed two runs, a HR and an RBI to his name. And helped the Yankees beat the Astros to take a 1-0 lead in the series. It also added much-needed positivity to the Yankees.
