Separations are tough, whether in professional or personal life. It takes a lot of effort to overcome this phase and build new relations. Former New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez boasts a prime instance for the same. The 2009 World Series champion separated from his wife, Cynthia Scurtis, in 2008 in one of the tough decisions of his life. However, this segregation has not affected him, as the Yankees star continues to add value to his past relationship with his co-parenting skills.

Although Alex and Cynthia are not together, when it comes to parenting, they shared core values. Because of it, they have a cordial relationship even after their divorce. It was very much visible in the latest Instagram of Rodriguez, who again proved how good of a father he is.

While the anticipation was not unwarranted, the ex-partners had previously affirmed that their separation would not negatively impact their children’s lives this year. Their most recent Instagram stories appear to reflect this commitment for all to witness.

Alex and Cynthia Continue to Be Role Models for the Parents

Rodriguez and Scurtis tied the knot in 2002. They were blessed with two daughters together, Natasha and Ella, who continue to be the center of their relationship. Because of this, they maintain good terms and give time to their daughters. Though it looks easy and normal, but only happens because of a strong understanding. Such an example was given by Rodriguez and Cynthia in a conversation with ABC News.

Rodriguez also focused on the same and shared, “I think everything happens for a reason. Sure, there are some regrets along the way, but I think you don’t have to be defined by those mistakes. Yeah, how you come back matters, too.”

Well, the principles that Alex and Cynthia agreed upon still hold value. Though they are not together as couples, their core parenting values will continue to empower other parents.
