The New York Mets have problems to solve. The team’s injury list is likely to get reduced. With the players back to fitness, they want them to be in the squad. It has put them in a dilemma of keeping Francisco Alvarez in the squad. According to SNY Mets, players have confirmed the pitching staff’s unhappiness with this move. They shared, ” One Mets pitcher suggested that if the team options Francisco ?lvarez, the pitching staff ‘will be angry.'”?

It has come after the reports of the recovery of Omar Narvaez and Tomas Nido. Both the players were part of the original squad but have missed games because of injuries. Now the management wants to have them back on the roster with Alvarez moving out.

Meanwhile, Alvarez has done well with the bat too. In 28 appearances, he has 20 runs to his name at an average of 0.238. He has been involved in 11 RBIs and has hit five runs with an OPS of 0.769.
