Given multiple teams chased him, this move has left the rest empty-handed. This includes the New York Yankees who are searching for a perfect partner for Gerrit Cole. Though many names are there, Jordan Montgomery echoes the most, all thanks to his 2023 World Series win campaign. However, is he in sync with what the Bronx requirements are?

Notably, Montgomery is not unknown to the 27-time Champions. Having played for them for almost six seasons, the ace pitcher is a former Yankee. This makes him a perfect fit for New York.
