Falefa, who once received endless criticism for his poor outings, has changed that. He has become a crucial player and a fan favorite for his consistent performances. After a slow start to the season, Falefa has redeemed himself for his effort, positive attitude, and crucial outings. The 28-year-old made a similar effort in the last game. Though the effort was not enough for the team’s win, fans still liked it and took to Twitter to register their praise.

Claiming a base or a home is the ultimate target of the batter. But as a runner, it’s become more important to do it successfully to add more to the team’s total. During the game against the New York Mets, Falefa did the same. Talkin’ Yanks shared a clip of stealing the base with a beautiful effort. The post read, “ISIAH KINER-FALEFA JUST STOLE HOME.“

Notably, it happened in the seventh innings of the game. The Yankees took a two-run lead because of this clutch effort. The announcer described this, “Here he comes. Steal a home, and he will do it. As I say, Isiah Kiner Falefa ran around the bases. Now the Yankees got a two-run lead.”
