Apart from Aaron Hicks, if there was one player who was receiving constant criticism, it was Isiah Kiner-Falefa. IKF, who played shortstop for the New York Yankees in the 2022 season, did not have a memorable year in 2022. And when the 2023 season began, almost all Yankees fans did not want to see him wearing the Pinstripes. With performances not improving and the team struggling, the voices were always against Isiah. At one point, it felt that Falefa has very little time to prove his worth and sustain his place on the team. But that is not the case anymore.

Most recently, the same fans cheered for Isiah Kiner-Falefa for his wonderful display from the plate. The 28-year-old has been excellent in the last few outings, proving to be a crucial part of the team with his all-round display. While playing against the Seattle Mariners, IKF provided another solid performance that got appreciation from not only his teammates but also from baseball fans.

Isiah Kiner-Falefa shines in another win for the New York Yankees

It was not an ideal season for Falefa last time out. The center fielder accepted it but now has proved his worth with hard work and better performances in the ongoing season. Isiah has finally found his strength after he finished with four RBIs at an average of 0.800 and an OPS of 1.600 in a 10-2 win over the Seattle Mariners. Talkin’ Yanks shared a clip from the game that read, “ALL HAIL ISIAH KINER-FALEFA.”

Notably, Isiah has contributed to four wins in his last four appearances. He has made eight hits during this course and has eight RBIs. He is averaging 0.217 and has 10 RBIs at an OPS of 0.624, with an overall growth in his season record. Isiah has made an impact with his fielding too and has been a complete player for the Yankees.

It has been ideal for the 28-year-old and has got all the support from every corner. His latest performance even made his teammate bow down. Even the fans have shared their regret over hating Isiah till now! Here are a few of such reactions!

It has been a great run for the Kiner- Falefa, who will look to add more to it and finish this season better.
