In the world of sports, the name Derek Jeter needs no introduction. He is a synonym 0f baseball in the modern MLB world. It is all due to a glorious baseball career in which the former New York Yankees captain won 5 World Series titles and reached new heights. And because of it, there is no dip visible in Jeter’s superstardom after almost a decade after his retirement. Though it is something that only a few athletes can reach in their lives, it also brings extra public scrutiny. His supermodel wife, Hannah Jeter, revealed this in a recent interview.

A Jeter is also a father and has its unique challenges. And as parenting is a tough job, handling four kids under six becomes more difficult. And with public scrutiny adding another layer of difficulty, the job becomes more difficult. Focusing on the same, Hannah revealed a side that Jeter’s stardom brings.

Hannah Jeter Reveals It Is Not a Simple Task to Live With Stardom of Derek Jeter

Although it was New York and Bronx stadium, which Jeter called his home, his aura had an immense reach. Because of it, he has got love from every city and fans who adored him. It is the reason for his stardom that has reached a new level. But some challenges have come with it.

Derek and Hannah Jeter recently gave an interview to The Messenger. They touched upon many things in the interview. One was life with kids and public scrutiny. And while answering this question, Hannah had an interesting take. She said, “I think the times that we do have to step out and be in the limelight together, it always feels a little uncomfortable for me. I prefer to keep most of our lives private at home with our family.”

Though while focusing on that it is more difficult for their children, she said, ” But as our kids get older, I know it’s going to get harder because they’re wanting to come to things and they’re wanting to experience things with us and sometimes that might be in the public eye” 

His take is very much true. Given that Jeter has always been a private man, it becomes difficult to maintain that with family, especially kids who are full of energy.

A Different Role for Jeter, Which He Wholeheartedly Enjoys

Jeter, as a father, is enjoying his responsibilities. Given the age groups, it does bring challenges that the player has to overcome, but he is doing everything necessary to fulfill the objectives. It was visible in their family trip, where the MLB star not only had to drive but also cater to the different needs of all four named Bella, Story, River, and Kaius.
