In every physical sport, on-field decisions sometimes take some ugly turns. Baseball is not an exception, and the world has seen controversies. Recently it happened after Yankees’ captain Aaron Judge got accused of cheating. It happened during the game between the New York Yankees and the Toronto Blue Jays. Aaron was at-bat and continuously looked at the dugout before hitting a home run.

The rival players accused the 2022 AL MVP of taking the instructions from the dugout and said it was against fair play. Even though the incident settled on the field, but is still alive of the field. Chris Bassitt becomes the latest addition to the people who have shared their thoughts on the incident.

Chris Bassitt terms Aaron Judge’s response to the incident as a lie!

Recently, Bassitt shared his response to the incident that unfolded last week. Chris Rose Sports shared a video of the interview on the Twitter account. It read, “Chris Bassitt says that what the Yankees were up to on Aaron Judge’s controversial home run in Toronto wasn’t technically illegal, but Judge’s response was a lie.”

In the video, Bassitt was seen explaining the whole incident. He said, it’s a gray area, and we can’t term it illegal technical. He answers, ” So I’ll say this about the whole situation. They knew we were tipping, and they were relaying tips. Is that illegal? No, it’s not illegal.”

Bassitt then points toward the coaches, relaying tips to their players. He said we can put arguments in favor of or against it. He also Judge’s response and adds that he made up a story to hide his action. Bassitt points out that he had no problem with Judge’s answer but terms it a lie, “I had no problem with it. Was it a lie? Yeah, it was a lie.”

Meanwhile, the Judge has moved from the incident and continues to shine for his team. Judge has been in fine form since coming back from the injury. He recently got the AL Player of the Week award and has scored in every of his last four games. Judge also led the team to a second consecutive series win. Since the return, Yankees has kept himself in the headlines, whether it is off-field comments or on-field brilliance.
