Alex Rodriguez is many things. He was an excellent ballplayer who made some mistakes. And he also paid a huge price for those mistakes. But still, he has no regrets. Notably, MLB found him guilty of using steroids while playing baseball in his younger days.

He also faced an entire season suspension for the PEDs consumption. Had he not faced the suspension, the former New York Yankees slugger would be in the same company as Derek Jeter, Mickey Mantle, Babe Ruth, and a few other Yankees.

As earlier mentioned A-Rod does not regret anything. He even admitted that MLB suspension was probably a good thing for him. It changed A-Rod as a person. Later, in 2017, when he was in a relationship with Jennifer Lopez, A-Rod opened up about his past. And interestingly, he also shared something that even his then-fiancee, Lopez was not aware of.

Per an exclusive interview with Variety.com, Alex Rodriguez admitted that he had several sleepless nights because of the PEDs suspension. And while doing so, he also shared the dark truth with Jennifer that he would start crying in the middle of the night.

“I remember thinking one night… Don’t know if I told you this, babe [he says to Lopez]… In the middle of this craziness, I remember it’s three A.M., four A.M., and like many nights, I couldn’t sleep. I’m not a crier, but I’m bawling…,” Alex Rodriguez confessed.
