Jasson Dominguez Confirms His MLB Debut and Sends a Request to His Mother

MLB debuts are precious with players wanting their families to be part of it. And the Yankees young prospect is not an exception to it. When it’s time for his significant promotion, he aims to ensure that his mother is present for the occasion. According to a tweet shared by Talkin Yanks, Dominguez has confirmed his MLB debut, “A source “very close” to Jasson Dominguez told  @hgomez27 that Dominguez informed his mother to get a flight to be present at his MLB debut on Friday.”

Notably, the Yankees are slated to play the Houston Astros on Friday which will be a big day for the Dominguez, nicknamed ‘The Martian’ for his skills. He will join another talented player, Austin Wells, who will also start his MLB journey. 

It is expected from Dominguez that he will perform on the similar lines of his 2023 minor league season. In the 118 games so far, he has scored 88 runs, and 15 Home Runs and is averaging 0.266 with an OPS of 0.804.

Because of this, fans expect a lot from the 20-year-old and have welcomed the decision of his promotion with the same spirit.
