It is special, as Trout has moved over the New York Yankees Hall of Famer Joe DiMaggio in the all-time home run-getters in MLB history. The Angels center fielder now stands at 85 positions in the all-time rankings. On this significant achievement, fans have registered their reactions too.

It is a colossal achievement for the Angels’ star. He had faced a slump in his performances this season but has made a comeback with powerful performances. Trout played a big role in the latest win alongside Shohei Ohtani. He finished the game with a home run and two RBIs to his name at an average of 0.250 and OPS of 1.0250.
With his 12th home run of the season, Trout replaced has replaced legendry Joe DiMaggio on the all-time home run-getters list. Coincidently, Joe, who played for the New York Yankees, was also a center fielder. He had a monumental MLB career and was part of the All-Star team 13 times. He also won 9 world series with the Yankees till his last in 1951. The former Yankees captain played over 1786 MLB games and had 361 home runs with an OPS of 0.977.
