Finally, the engaging MLB off-season is here. Given that it was a blistering end to the 2023 season, the off-season was expected to start on the same note. But that was not the case. However, it has finally picked up with multiple star players signing new deals. It seems the cycle is about to continue with the 2023 World Series Champion moving to a new place to continue his MLB journey.

Given that Jordan Montgomery played a crucial role in the Texas Rangers’ first major title, the reports suggested they would re-sign him for the upcoming season. However, that has not happened until now and has opened the doors for multiple teams to sign the 30-year-old, including the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox. Though the Yankees were the top favorite in this deal, but that may change now, all thanks to Montgomery’s choice of spending off season in Boston.

The 2023 season was not the best for many teams, including the former WS champions, the Red Sox. The reason behind this was poor pitching, which they want to correct now. For it, the Sox are also eying Jordan Montgomery, who has all the experience to fulfill their demands. However, multiple teams are against them in this race. But Montgomery’s latest move may come as a helping hand for the 2018 World Series Champions.

Notably, the champion pitcher is spending his time in Boston. Although it’s because of family reasons, his move has changed the narrative in favor of the Red Sox. Reportedly, Montgomery is spending his off-season but also pitching at Boston College.

This is big because this period can alter and positively impact Montgomery’s vision around Boston. It may also lead him to Fenway Park for the upcoming season. However, the Yankees still don’t want to give up on the opportunity. They may offer a contract, but will the former Pinstripes star agree to a home return?

After a Shocking Exit, Will Montgomery Return to the Bronx?

However, he had a shock exit after being traded without his prior knowledge, hurting him a lot. Due to this, many claimed that the sour relationship would continue between the former partners.
