Speaking to the MLB Network, Trevino said, “It’s the New York Yankees, you know. We expect to win championships and so do the fans. And you know, that’s just how it’s gonna be. Some people like it, some people don’t like it. I just so happen to love it. Every day wanting to win every single game. “

Trevino added, saying, “I’m okay with that, you know. I’m okay with going out there and risking what there needs having an expectation of winning. I’m totally fine with that, so I enjoy that. But New York’s definitely different.”

“Like you said, as big as any player, you go there and you know where you’re playing. You know you’re playing the Yankees and now it’s a big stage. So you get pretty excited. But being on the home side, you are excited every day”, Trevino further said.
Jose Trevino’s MLB career to date and the shift in the tide
Trevino made his MLB debut as the catcher for the Texas Rangers in 2018. He joined the Yankees in 2022 and has already gained considerable stardom. Following a long list of accolades, he won the Platinum Glove, Gold Glove, and Fielding Bible Awards altogether this year. Additionally, Trevino also made his first-ever MLB All-Star appearance this year as well.
