He also set up the record for the Mets after claiming the most strikeouts in a single game as a Japanese-origin player. SNY shared a clip of his family celebrations during his pitching. He has been exceptional for the team this season. Meanwhile, the Mets, putting the last-game controversies aside, played well in the second game of the series. With this win, they have leveled the series 1-1.
