It happened during the third innings of the game. Though unaffected by the criticism, Altuve did his job at the plate while finishing the game, averaging 0.600 with an RBI at an OPS of 1.200. But his effort fell short of guaranteeing his team the win as the Astros lost the game with a margin of one run.

Many years have passed, but the Dodgers and their fans still cannot forget the series. As Jose Altuve was part of the Astros squad that won the championship, he continues to face rejection from the Dodgers fanbase. The latest incident was another addition to it.

Even though the Astros won the World Series in 2017, the condition under which they became the winners continues to haunt them to date. It all started after accusations mounted on the Astros of using cameras and video monitors to steal signs of opposing catchers. Even though they denied using it, an investigation from MLB held them guilty.

The 2017 champions were fined by the league but held the title after no evidence confirmed that they stole signs during the postseason. But baseball fans, especially the Dodgers, don’t believe in it and still share unhappiness, which is unlikely to die soon. What do you make of this latest criticism of Altuve?
