It has been a few weeks since the on-field brawl between Jose Ramirez and Tim Anderson broke the internet. Apart from the heat at the diamond, ejections, and suspensions, a war of words continued on social media. A post of forgiveness followed it, and the battle eventually became part of a memory. Though it seemed an end, the incident is not leaving the MLB center stage anytime soon.

Given that fans do celebrate their teams’ advantage over others, it was visible in their reactions to Jose’s punch. But when rivals start recognizing it, things become interesting. The same happened when the Minnesota Twins honored Ramirez on their scoreboard in a unique message involving Miguel Cabrera. It was a revisit for the baseball fans, who could not stop themselves from adding their thoughts.

Jose Ramirez and Tim Anderson Resurfaces at Target Field

Several weeks ago, an intense match unfolded between the Cleveland Guardians and the Chicago White Sox. The two teams saw a competitive matchup both on the field and in the stands. It seems the Minnesota Twins want to join it as a third party. It was visible in their bid to add their involvement in the conversation with a cheeky message with another reference.

Talkin’ Baseball shared a Tweet related to this effort with the caption, “Jose Ramirez’s scoreboard fact at Target Field.”  Noticeably, the message read,” Currently 1-0 with a first-round TKO of Time Anderson and a No-decision against Miguel Cabrera.”

The incident stole the limelight from the game. But the most interesting reference was to Miguel Cabrera. Though the Twins crowned him the winner against Anderson, they are unsure about his friendly battle with Cabrera and put the winner list on hold.
