Anthony Rendon of the Los Angeles Angels : This veteran third baseman went through a high-grade partial tear of his left hamstring. This injury landed him on the 10-day injured list on April 26th. Rendon too acknowledged the seriousness of the injury. The MLB world must wait till around June 1st to see Rendon back after his recovery.

Zac Gallen from the Arizona Diamondbacks : Spasms in his right hamstring pushed the ace pitcher to exit his game against the Seattle Mariners on April 27th. While classified as day-to-day, his status remains uncertain. Manager Torey Lovullo will likely provide an update on Gallen’s availability soon in the coming days.

Jasson Dominguez of the New York Yankees : This highly-touted prospect’s path to the big leagues has hit a snag due to an elbow injury. Nevertheless, there’s positive news! Dominguez has shown progress, in throwing at a distance of 135 feet, according to manager Aaron Boone. Though a return date remains unclear, this progress suggests that he might be back in action sooner rather than later.
