On March 20, 2024, when the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres split the Seoul Series, there came a glimpse of the adrenaline rush one can expect in the regular season. No matter what the level of excitement was, one can’t take away that this game was played on international soil.

Although this result will go toward the teams’ regular season records, this game was not recognized as Opening Day for those who watched at home. The first day that all 30 major league teams play baseball on North American soil is Thursday, March 28. But the notoriously pricey tickets send across a message that most fans don’t seem to comprehend.
