Well, he sure has a game going on outside the diamond. Though Betts is now a professional baseball player, his history with bowling has been too special to not talk about. Whether he is launching homers or knocking pins down, his passion on and off the field reflects his multifaceted personality. Did I also mention a choice for a good soundtrack?

MLB Star Delivers Curve Shot Perfection

The 2X World Series Champion posted an Instagram story of him flexing his skills as a talented bowler. The ten-pin bowler made a perfect strike with a curve shot like none other. The ‘swag’ with which he bowled only increased 10-fold with the choice of song he added in the background. Syncing perfectly with the words “play time over, this the big leagues. G.O.A.T.” from the song Big League, his strike was nothing short of impressive.

This skill is not a sudden finding for the 7X All-Star. He has been a standout in multiple areas beyond baseball. While he is not far from claiming fame in baseball, he does so too as a master of ten-pin bowling. He conquered the 2017 World Series with a flawless perfect game, displaying his expertise on the PBA lanes.

His interest in bowling sprouts from his mother who was an avid bowler herself and taught Mookie to bowl at a young age. In the year 2010, the 31-year-old was named the Tennessee Boys Bowler of the Year. Betts even after making his MLB debut, competed in the Professional Bowlers Association, World Series of Bowling in the years 2015 and 2017. All this makes one wonder, how talented is too talented?
