Per an old YouTube video, Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez shared the story of former NBA star Joe Smith. He also expressed his desire to help Smith get back into the game. Not to forget that Joe Smith played for the NBA heavyweights like the LA Lakers, Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors, and nine other NBA franchises his career spanning over 15 years.
“My goal is to reconnect Joe back to that platform where he was. That pedestal. But I don’t think we will get there until I fully understand Joe’s financial history and what went wrong,” Alex Rodriguez said.

Talking about his struggle, Smith said that signing a contract does not change the life of anyone.
“A lot of people think once you sign that contract, you are just like an automatic millionaire. But it doesn’t work like that,” Smith said.

A-Rod also revealed what led to Smith’s bankruptcy and said that one has to be careful and wise with their spending.
“Thanks to crazy spending, bad investments, and costly divorce, Joe’s fortune was wiped out. And He has got very little current income to replace his losses,” A-Rod added.
Per Marçà, with A-Rod’s help, Smith is earning ten times more than he was earning before. And with this, he will also be able to clear his debt.
