It looks like Alex Rodriguez has truly become a huge basketball fan. Notably, the former Yankee owns part of the NBA team, Minnesota Timberwolves, with businessman Marc Lore. And the two are frequently seen attending games. The Timberwolves’ recent game against the Cleveland Cavaliers also saw A-Rod and Lore in attendance. The two were accompanied by Rodriguez’s girlfriend Jac Cordeiro as well as Lore’s own partner.

The former shortstop and the investor bought the NBA team back in 2021 from billionaire and politician, Glen Taylor. The two business partners seem to be in talks to buy the entire Minnesota basketball franchise, including the Minnesota Lynx. It was reported back in December that they had exercised their option to buy the next 20% of the franchise, making it the second step in their three-step plan.

And A-Rod seems to be enjoying his time with the current team by taking his girlfriend to see them.

Jac Cordeiro shared a photo on her Instagram story featuring herself and her partner, along with Marc Lore and his partner. The four of them seemed to be sitting courtside and enjoying the game. A-Rod and Lore shared their own photos on social media with former NFL star Larry Fitzgerald Jr., who is a minority owner of the NBA team, the Phoenix Suns.

Rodriguez and Cordeiro made their relationship official last holiday season when both shared a family photo with his daughters, Natasha and Ella. After what seemed like a rough breakup with Jennifer Lopez, A-Rod seems to be doing well. Cordeiro and the former Yank certainly have a lot of things in common, like how they’re both into fitness. The Timberwolves had a good match with the Cavaliers on Saturday and won the game 110-102. When the two teams previously faced off in November 2022, the Minnesotans had beaten the Cavs back then, too. Looks like Rodriguez is doing well on the business side of the game as well because the MLB world already considered him a legend on the diamond. The former Yank previously tried to purchase ownership of the New York Mets, but his efforts didn’t lead to anything conclusive.
