Alex Rodriguez Gives Shout-Out to His NBA Team Players on Social Media Amid Fun Moments at Public Event

Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez became a big hit among baseball fans through his heroic performances while playing baseball. After retiring as a player from the baseball scene, the Yankees legend joined the ownership of an NBA franchise, Minnesota Timberwolves.

Notably, even though he is not an athlete anymore, A-Rod does not keep himself away from any sport. Recently, the Timberwolves’ co-owner gave a special shout-out to his NBA team players while showing some basketball skills himself.

Rodriguez joined the Timberwolves ownership along with billionaire entrepreneur Marc Lore in 2021. When talking about his recent outing, the former slugger spent some quality time at the Boys and Girls Club of Miami-Dade. From there, he sent a special shout-out to the Timberwolves’ shooting guard Anthony Edwards and power forward Karl Towns.

Alex Rodriguez reveals the actual champions of the skill 

Born in New York, Alex Rodriguez spent a significant part of his younger days in Florida. He grew up in Miami, having first-hand experience with baseball in the region. Therefore, Florida and Miami in particular have always had a special place in his heart. So it was obvious to notice him attending the special event at the Boys and Girls Club of Miami Dade. The club, which aims at youth welfare, gave away toys and gifts to the children for the upcoming holiday season. Not to forget that it was the 15th Annual Toy Drive.

Rodriguez hosted a party at the Hank Kline Club to celebrate the event. While having fun at the event, Rodriguez made a video of himself spinning a basketball. He later uploaded the video on his official Instagram account. Giving a hilarious twist, he even jokingly stated that he is not good at basketball tricks, unlike his NBA team players.

Putting up the post, ‘A-Rod’ wrote, “I will stick to baseball and leave this up to Karl Towns, Anthony Edwards, and the guys. Amazing night at the Boys and Girls Club of Miami Dade for our fifteenth annual toy drive.” However, the Timberwolves are presently going through a poor form, struggling to maintain a proper win-loss record.

Therefore, more than anything, Rodriguez will be hoping his Timberwolves provide better performances in the upcoming fixtures.

How did the Minnesota Timberwolves’ latest outing turn out?

The Timberwolves played against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday. The two teams clashed at the Crypto.com arena. Defeating the Timberwolves, the Clippers won by a 99-88 margin. Consequently, the Timberwolves are now trailing below at the 11th spot in the Western Conference.
