The NBA recently concluded the 2023 NBA draft that sealed the fate of many future stars, including Gradey Dick and Markquis Nowell. The two young players recently signed for the Toronto Raptors and will ply their trade for them in the future. Given that Toronto would be their home for the next few years, the duo has started to know the city.

The duo recently visited the Rogers Centre and enjoyed their time watching an MLB game between the Blue Jays and Oakland Athletics. Confirming the same, Blue Jays shared an Instagram post with the caption, “New to The North! Welcome to Toronto, Gradey Dick and Markquis Nowell.”?

Fans also loved this gesture from them and appreciated their effort since the NBA draft. This was not the only visit that became the highlight of the MLB and NBA interaction. Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs had an impactful start to his time in the country. The 7?4” power forward entertained the baseball fans at the Bronx Stadium and even got reactions from the Yankees skipper Aaron Boone.
