The contest certainly lived up to expectations with its thrilling turns. The Sox won after putting up three runs on the board. For them, Rafael Devers scored two, finishing with an average of 0.500 and an OPS of 2.000. In response, the Yankees scored through Falefa and Donaldson, but all eyes were on Volpe. He finished without any runs and had an OPS of 0.500. But a home run could have changed the entire situation.
