Throughout the fourth game of the ALCS, Judge has always been a team person who has focused on wins rather than his personal records. Over time he has proved how loyal he is to the Yankees and has been hinting to fans that he might stay as a Yankee after all. But the man lives by a mantra that keeps his team spirit alive that he got from his college’s baseball coach.
What is the mantra that Aaron Judge lives by to keep himself grounded?
As Aaron Judge won the hearts of millions of people and showed his worth to the management, he always goes by the mantra that there is no “I”, or “me” or “my” in the team.
This mantra came to Judge from his college baseball coach. The coach used to put a fine of $1 every time a player said the above three words. It was the mantra or advice that still instills in Judge to stay grounded, motivated, and forever a team player.
