Gerrit Cole is the latest addition to the 2000 strikeouts club

Meanwhile, Cole is in his 11th MLB season. He made his debut with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2013. Cole has played 278 games so far and has pitched in over 1717 innings. The right-hand pitcher has an ERA of 3.21 and has claimed 2,000 strikeouts at a WHIP of 1.10. He also holds a brilliant win-loss record of 135-71 at a winning percentage of 0.655.
