Bryan Hoch shared this news on Twitter. It read,” Willie Calhoun (quadriceps) expects to go on the IL. Said he had a similar injury a few years back, needed a PRP injection, and missed 3-4 weeks.”

According to Hoch, the last time Willie experienced a similar injury, he was out of action for a month. This comes as a setback for the Yankees because of the crucial contribution provided by the player this season. In 44 games, Willie has 16 runs and 16 RBIs at an average of 0.239. He has also hit five home runs and has a decent OPS of 0.712. Given Willie’s importance in the team, the injury update has troubled the fans too.
