Patrick Mahomes plays baseball on his road to recovery!

Mahomes suffered a major ankle injury last season and was scheduled to be out for long. Even the recent updates on the player were not indicating any relief. But his appearance while recovering from the injury comes as positive news. The Chiefs shared the video of him playing and hitting balls well during the baseball game.

The caption of the post read, “Of course QB1 hits a home run” Mahomes’s innings came during a charity softball game organized by the Kansas City Royals. The player made a hit and then covered all the distance to make it a home run. Though it is not the first time Mahomes has been involved in baseball.

The Quarterback played baseball during his high school and was even part of the prospects list for the MLB draft. Even though he did not sign up for any MLB team, he has all the skills to be a baseball player. He recorded a 16-strikeout no-hitter during high school. Though, because of his love for football, Mahomes signed for the football team instead. Though he did not follow baseball as a profession, he is certainly enjoying the game during his return to the field.? Fans also loved his hitting during the recent game.
