MLB legend Derek Jeter’s sister, Sharlee Jeter, has been overlooking the functioning of the former Yankee?s Turn2 Foundation. The foundation organized its yearly golf tournament, namely Derek Jeter Invitational. Various stars from different fields like business, sports, and entertainment took to the golf course to swing their clubs.

Sharlee, who heads the foundation, shared an Instagram story from the event. In that story, an NFL legend could be seen performing on the stage.

Michael Strahan set the stage on fire!

The DJI 2023 saw multiple performances. In one such, Michael Strahan took the stage and showcased his rapping skills. Sharlee Jeter put the performance video of Strahan on her Instagram account as a story.

Michael Strahan is a former professional NFL player. He played for the New York Giants for 15 years, making his first appearance in 1993. He played 218 games as the Defensive End. Strahan completed 851 tackles and 141.5 Sacks during this period. After his retirement in 2007, Strahan has been in the media world and made multiple appearances as a football analyst. He also co-hosted ABC’s Good Morning America.?

Apart from NFL legend, DJ D-Nice, writer Angie Martinez, Rob Gronkowski, CC Sabathia, and Joey Fatone, also attended the event.

Derek Jeter and his father started Turn 2 Foundation!

Derek Jeter and his father, Dr. Charles Jeter, started the Turn 2 Foundation in 1996. It was just the start of Jeter’s New York Yankees career. The foundation aims to inspire young individuals to adopt healthy lifestyles. It motivates them to live a better life by avoiding drugs and alcohol and ?Turn 2? healthier alternatives. Their program includes providing higher education and helping young aspirants get into colleges. The program has been successful and has got appreciation from many.

Since the year 2010, Sharlee Jeter has been running the foundation. She has successfully headed multiple business ventures for her brother, the former shortstop. Sharlee has run the organization with dedication and has taken it to new heights, running different programs to increase the foundation’s base over the years. Derek Jeter’s Invitational in 2023 was another successful event under her presidency.
