It’s been over a decade since Barber has left the football scene. Given the time gap and his age, there were doubts that he might have lost his pace and agility. Contrarily, the former running back proved everyone wrong with his skills on the baseball field.

Notably, this move comes exactly after Barber joined the WFAN afternoon drive as a co-host alongside Evan Roberts. Interestingly, this radio station also hosts shows related to the New York Yankees. Given that the Yankees are struggling, fans have opined that Barber can join the squad and add some strength to the dwindling team. The voices have come after his recent heroics on the baseball field!

The New York Yankees are struggling at the moment. Mainly because they are missing their best outfielder Aaron Judge because of the injury. Since the video of Barber catching a ball has come up, the Pinstripes supporters have some demands and claims to make with the management.
A fan’s reaction is to sign him in the upcoming days, with the other speculating that if any Yankees player attempts this, they could face a two-month stint on the IL.
Tiki is in far better shape than any Yankee player. If any one of them did that it would be a minimum of 2 months out after an MRI and a CAT Scan. Boone wouldn’t give an answer on the injury for at least 2 weeks.
