Emotions are there in physical sports, and it comes out during the heat of the game. It happened again for Aaron Boone, who was displeased with the umpiring during the game. Boone had a heated argument with the umpires in the third innings of the contest and saw himself being ejected. Notably, it was his 30th ejection as a Yankees’ manager in his five-year tenure.

Meanwhile, the contest had a slow start. Pitchers dominated the overall proceedings as both teams struggled to score runs. After Boone’s ejection, the Orioles put the first run on the board. The Orioles then scored two more in the eight innings to take the lead, which provided them with another win of the season.

For the Orioles, Anthony Santander had a great game. He scored a run in three hits, finishing the game at an average of 0.267. The star of the game, though, was Kyle Gibson. In seven innings, Gibson claimed three strikeouts, allowing only two hits. Apart from Aaron Judge, the whole offense of the Yankees failed to score.
