Notably, Gonzalez averaged 0.296 with 39 runs and 11 home runs at an OPS of 0.789. However, the 2023 has not been good for the outfielder.

In 173 at-bats, he scored only 15 runs and 12 RBIs, averaging 0.214 at an OPS of 0.551. Although his stats improved in the minor leagues, there are still not enough to ouster the doubts about his worth. However, fans have another thought about this signing.
