After Jasson Dominguez, the Yankees Lose Oswald Peraza

It has been a disappointing season for the Yankees. The reason behind it is the regular injuries and poor consistency, affecting their positive run badly with seemly no end to it. After losing Jasson Dominguez, who was a hit since his MLB debut, the Yankees have lost talented Oswald Peraza.

According to Bryan Hoch, “Oswald Peraza is day to day with left knee inflammation. He had an MRI a few days ago, per Aaron Boone.” Though there is not much on the extent of the injury, it seems it can dent his 2023 season.

Notably, the season has not gone to the liking of the shortstop. The third baseman averaged 0.188, with ten RBIs and an OPS of 0.510. Because of this, Peraza wanted to improve to have a chance of playing from the start of the next season. But this injury could hamper it.
