On a pleasant note, Pete has made a return from the hip injury successfully. But has another injury to take care of that he experienced while playing with his child. Contrary to the usual concern for player safety, fans expressed a different sentiment this time.

The caption of the tweet read, “Pitcher Pete Fairbanks is returning from his hip injury with a black eye that he acquired while dunking on his three-year-old son. Teach him an early lesson in life. When you’re in the paint, you cannot be caught unaware underneath the rim.”
