The owner of the San Diego Padres, Peter Seidler, saw an untimely demise seven days ago on the fourteenth of November this year. The entire MLB has been grieving this loss, but it has been the heaviest on his team and its members. Seidler used to be a compassionate and active owner who never faltered in taking care of his team.

Tatis? message speaks of the respect and values that Seidler instilled in the roots of his team. His message reads, ?You and this organization have changed my life. You were a man I truly admired and respected, and I knew you wanted only the best for me and every player on this team. You taught me to stay true to who I am and respect others for who they are, and showed us all what that meant. We promise to continue your legacy. We will win one for you. May you rest in peace.?

Seidler had just one thing in mind when it came to the things that went on in the diamond. For him, only one thing mattered: winning. Just this season, they went through a huge financial loss, for which they even had to take a $50 million loan from outside. Seidler was indifferent to the amount and purpose of his spending. He just wanted to win.
