The two-time unanimous MVP Shohei Ohtani has left no opportunity to awe the MLB big leaguers. His two-way expertise goes way beyond anyone’s capacity. Ohtani’s two-way prowess has been nothing short of sensational this season, but recently on Saturday, the Los Angeles Angels grappled with a familiar foe, The Oakland Athletics. The Athletics have a record of 41 wins and 95 losses, while the Angels have 64 wins and 72 losses. Surprisingly, the Angels faced difficulties in their most recent match.

The LA Angels, led by the extraordinary Shohei Ohtani, entered their recent match-up against the last-placed team in AL West, Oakland Athletics with high hopes. However, with little cooperation and subpar performances from the squad altogether, Ohtani might be doubting his game.

Shohei Ohtani Is In No Mood For Celebration 

In a performance that underscored the Angels’ struggles against their division rivals, Ohtani’s brilliance was overshadowed by a disappointing result. While the O’s were in a celebratory mood, the camera caught one instance where Ohtani just might be giving up which ‘pretty much sums up this season‘. 

The two way phenom is all set to be a free agent with a gigantic contract coming his way, but his not at the cost of his current team, the Los Angeles Angels. His association with the Angels is quite deep however, the team didn’t quite back him in their latest game against the Athletics where they lost 9-2.

August was indeed miserable for the Angels, but September starter was ought to be positive. The bad taste of August’s loss continues into September with their start not going quite as planned for them. One wonders if their situation improves before Ohtani moves into free agency

Fans Turn Bitter Towards The Angels

Shohei Ohtani’s ‘Babe Ruth’ status is obsolete now. His achievements have shattered the glass ceiling and the MLB folks grow hungrier to have him onboard as he nears his free agency. But fans have something else to say.
