These continuous defeats haven’t only stopped their winning run but put them seven games behind the top spot. And the latest injury reports involving Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani have further increased problems for the Angels.

The news has come just a week ahead of the much-anticipated All-Star game, and its reparations like to stay for long. Given that the Angels fans expected a better second half, they have not liked these latest reports. Reacting to the entire episode, they shared thoughts on the disappointing update.

The Los Angeles Angels have not made it to the playoffs and wanted to change this record. But the recent streak of poor results and the latest injuries have affected the team. Journalist Bob Nightengale pointed towards the same with his tweet regarding the Angels.

It read,So in less than 24 hours for the #Angels: Mike Trout breaks his hamate bone and is out 6-8 weeks. Shohei Ohtani leaves the game with a blister and won’t pitch in the All-Star Game. Anthony Rendon leaves the clubhouse on crutches with a bruised shin. How’s your day going?”

These injuries will cost the Angles big time, who were looking solid this season apart from the recent poor outings. The injury to Mike Trout is a setback for the fans and the player. Confirming the news, Trout shared an update about the future course of action.

Trout Answered the question about his return and said, ” Of course. I’ve had a lot of guys reach out that’s had the surgery before or had this injury before. I don’t know if I have to get surgery or not, but I know in the next couple of days, I guess. But it’s, some guys came back in four weeks, some guys take it a little longer just to see how my body heals.”

Even though Trout is hopeful of his return and they expect Ohtani to be at the plate, fans are still unsatisfied. Reacting to this, they have shared their disappointments.
