The Yankees and the Rays split the series after another close game

The game saw brilliant hitting from both teams. The Rays made of the opportunities to cut through the Yankees’ defense. During the fourth innings, the Yanks did score four runs, but the Rays had a strong comeback, scoring five in the next inning to take a strong lead. The Rays then held their nerves back and defended the total with some fine pitching. Even though the Bronx fought hard but their effort was not enough.

For the Rays, Isaac Paredes scored the most runs. He finished the game with two runs and an OPS of 2.00. Zach Eflin put on a brilliant performance and claimed nine strikeouts at an ERA of 3.38. In comparison, Oswaldo Cabrera had a great game with two runs to his credit. Though it was a forgetful outing for Aaron Judge, who saw two strikeouts and could not score a single run. Another Yankees player who could not make a powerful impact was Clarke Schmidt. He finished with an ERA of 6.30 in 4.2 innings pitched.?
