“That’s What Happens When You Spend 20 Years Being Busy in October” – Derek Jeter Humors Fans by Trying to Hack a Halloween Tradition

Over the years, baseball legend Derek Jeter has achieved many titles, but there are still some things Jeter is not perfect at. After all, if a human won’t make mistakes, who will? The shortstop recently shared a picture of him trying to hack up one of the Halloween traditions, but, unfortunately, failed at it.

The Yankees Captain has shared a couple of his Halloween pictures in previous years. One of which is of him as a kid dressed up as a scary clown. Whereas the other is from a few years back with his now wife, Hannah Jeter, being dressed up as the devil and angel. He pulled off the devil costume in a way that could easily scare someone.

While the shortstop may not have shown his Halloween costume this year, he did give his fans a glimpse of what went in his house. There are many traditions that come with Halloween, such as visiting haunting houses, trick-or-treating, and many more. One such important ordeal for many people is making Jack-o’-Lanterns, and apparently, the shortstop is not very good at it. 

How did Derek Jeter carve the pumpkins?

Five-time World Series winner, Derek Jeter, is known for trying to be better at doing things he knows he is not good at. Moreover, he is also known to succeed at doing them.

The athlete posted a picture of him with what looked like two freshly carved pumpkins in an imprecise manner. He captioned the picture, “Don’t hate!!!”

It was as if he knew that he is not great at it, but still went ahead and shared his craft with people. He also did not want to become the target of mockery, so he already asked people to not hate him for not being perfect at it.
