The chase for MVP has never been more enthralling. With the Atlanta Braves’ gem spurring his game with homers the 25-year-old is stiffening the competition. There have been predictions of who is going to be the National League MVP, but the tables are turning as the end is nearing its climax. It’s time to redo the calculations.
Ronald Acuna Jr. is on a whim with his performances. The latest homer in Tuesday’s game against the Philadelphia Phillies is proof of how he has taken matters into his own hands. It is impossible to ignore the fact that Los Angeles Dodgers’, (current) most potent contender, has his spot in danger.

The MVP Tug Of War With Close Contender Gets Tighter
In the 9-3 win that the Atlanta Braves had against the Phillies, Acuna hit 2 home runs on his bobblehead night. Not only that, he stole his 67th base which puts him only one long ball short of becoming the first 40-60 player of the Majors. Acuna told the reporters, “I just thank God I’ve been able to stay healthy. I feel like if I am healthy I am able to do the things I’ve done”.
With that, Acuna has redefined healthy competition for the 2018 MVP Mookie Betts. Betts, whose stellar performance catapulted the Dodgers to the top of the National League West needs to buckle up for a tough fight. No one could be more excited about this than the fans.
