Notably, it was Ohtani’s 24th home run of the season, leading the scoring charts. Also, 12 such home runs have come in his last 19 outings, which has given an enormous boost to the team. But it did not end there, Trout added more to the day’s offense and scored his 15th home run of the season. With this, the duo created a record and went into the history books for the Angels.
