What’s going on in downtown Phoenix? As if Game 4 of the World Series at Chase Field isn’t entertaining enough, fans take to a strange pastime. As the Arizona Diamondbacks are left catching up to the mighty Texas Rangers, the dissatisfied fans create a somewhat rough-and-tumble situation.

Amid a humiliating trail of 2-1 in the series, Diamondbacks witness cheap shenanigans from fans who try their best to beat boredom. Not bothered about the scores anymore, they choose to have fun, though it might cause hindrance in the game.

Fans Find A Way To Amuse Themselves Amid A Sad Game For The Arizona Diamondbacks

Fans seemed to take the ‘Stand Up To Cancer’ cards that had been placed at each seat prior to the game and use them to make paper airplanes after the fifth inning. As the public address announcer warned the audience about these actions, the fans paid no heed. Rather booed at the PA announcer. @JeffPassan tweeted as the situation got out of hand when the paper planes landed on the field. He worded his tweet, “For the last two innings, fans have been trying to throw paper airplanes onto the field at Chase Field”.
