Shohei Ohtani makes the game of baseball even more beautiful with his presence in the ballpark. There are no better adjectives to describe his unparalleled skills in the ballpark. A dynamic force from the mound and a hitting machine from the plate, Ohtani, is the Rolls-Royce of baseball.
Just a day ago, the LA Angels two-way phenom belted his 100th home run in Major League Baseball. And now, he has smacked another one on Sunday. After hitting his 100th home run on Saturday, the Japanese slugger became the only second player after legendary Babe Ruth to have 100 home runs and 250 strikeouts.

A dream player for any manager, Ohtani is just 27 years old. Given his age, he is on a track to becoming an MLB legend. Coming to his recent game against the Oakland Athletics, Ohtani’s 101st home run helped the Angles to win the game.
Shohei Ohtani is just unbelievable
The Japanese slugger is in a league of his own. He does not even have a competitor in the league. It has not been even two months since the regular season kicked off. And the Angels star already has eight home runs and 46 strikeouts in the current season.

During the fourth and last game of the series, the reigning American League MVP smacked a two-run home run and helped the Angels to clinch the series.

Not only Ohtani but the Angels Patrick Sandoval also had an excellent game. The Angels ace pitched through 6 1/3 innings and allowed just one run on four hits. Talking about his game, Sandoval said he will take this performance every time.
“I’ll take that every time, especially with the stuff I had today,” said the Angels pitcher to MLB.com
The Angels strengthen their position at the top

With this win over the Athletics, the Joe Maddon-led team has strengthened its position at the top of the American League West. However, the Astros are just a win away from dethroning the Angels again from the top.
The way the Angels are playing in the 2022 season, they will give tough competition to their division rivals, the Houston Astros.
