Bryce Aron Max Harper, 31, also known as The Showman for his amazing show-ups while the spotlight is on him, is an American professional baseball player who plays first base and right field for the MLB’s Philadelphia Phillies. There has rarely ever been a time when he has not seized a single moment of stardom. A 2012 debutant in the Washington Nationals, Haper joined the Phillies in 2019 as Number 3. In the world of MLB, he is recognized as a 5-tool-player, with the pentagonal qualities of Speed, Throwing, Fielding, Hitting for Average, and Hitting for Power. The lesser-known fact about Bryce’s wife is that she, much like her husband, has grown up dedicated to sports.

Is She An Athlete Like Harper? 

Kayla is an American athlete and a former college soccer player in Henderson, Nevada. The 30-year-old began her career playing with the Green Valley Gators for four seasons. During the early days of her career as a sportswoman, she won two Sunrise Conference titles with the team. She has had a stellar career with amazing scores. While her career spanned 4 years, she scored 112 goals and 83 assists.

Apart from playing two seasons at BYU, her team, with her help, won three Southeast Division titles. Kayla played at Brigham Young University in 2011 and 2012, according to PEOPLE. Not only that, she moved to Ohio State and played 20 games for the Ohio Buckeyes. Along with her aspirational sports journey, she partakes in various charity events. 

How Long Has She Been In A Relationship With Harper? 

After meeting in high school in 2010, Bryce and Kayla got engaged four years later. Right before their engagement, the two handled a long-distance relationship, and that’s when Bryce popped the question in 2014. While the couple almost tied the knot in 2015, they released the news of calling off their nuptials for reasons unknown. However, soon after that, they confirmed their wedding would happen in 2016. 

Their Relationship Journey So Far: Affair, Engagement, and Marriage

While the two have known each other for slightly over a decade and encountered some setbacks during their courtship period, they are going strong. Their wedding is solid and both their inclination toward family and bringing up the home together is one of the biggest things they are on the same page about. The baseball ace and his childhood sweetheart gave birth to two lovely children in 2019 and 2020. Their son Krew Aron, the elder one, was born on August 22nd, 2019. The couple welcomed their adorable daughter Brooklyn Elizabeth, the younger one, who was born in November 2020. They are also pet parents to Wrigley, a Maltese-Yorkshire terrier, their pet dog. While it is impossible to stay out of the limelight given Harper’s public-figure status, the couple tries to limit their children’s exposure. They, however, are quite visible in public with regard to their relationship.

How Do They Share Their Parenthood?

Kayla is quite active on social media. She shares snippets from her family life and outings on Instagram primarily. Though she has taken to nurturing the kids while Bryce represents the Philadelphia Phillies on the National stage, her involvement with both sides is not less. Well, the power couple has a common liking for sports. But that’s not it. They have other shared beliefs as well. Harper and his wife, Kayla, value religion a lot. They privately conducted their wedding ceremony in a temple. They have mentioned before, “Religion was obviously the most important part of our marriage. The temple marriage is very sacred. Our religion is very private, and only certain people can attend the ceremony. So it was really nice to just enjoy that with our immediate family”.
