World Series Champion Enrique Hernandez Says Justin Turner Impacted His Illustrious Career

Enrique Hernandez is overjoyed at the opportunity to once again take the field with his good friend and former teammate, Justin Turner. The two players spent five memorable years together on the Dodgers and won a World Series in 2020.

Hernandez holds Turner in high regard not only as a friend but also as a player. The former teammates will reunite in Boston for the RedSox after the 38-year-old player recently signed a one-year deal.

During their time playing together for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Enrique Hernandez and Justin Turner formed a strong bond and friendship. Hernandez has cited Turner as a major source of  inspiration and admiration, stating that he is constantly in awe of Turner’s talent and skill on the field. The two players have spent five memorable years together and Hernandez has been outspoken about the positive impact that Turner has had on his own career. Whether on or off the field, Hernandez look up to Turner and credits him with helping to shape him into a player he is today.

Hernandez has been consistent on Twitter with showing his love for Turner and the excitement of re-uniting with him.

When the Dodgers bid farewell to Turner in a Tweet, Hernandez replied“Don’t worry guys! He’s in good hands!!”

Red Sox also tweeted a video of the two close friends saying, “Reunited and it feels so good”

The fans are rejoicing over Hernandez’s latest tweet.

Dodger fans are sad to see Justin Turner leave the team, some are even asking for both of them to come back.

Some were curious as to who the other teammate that inspired Hernandez was.

Turner acknowledges that Hernandez had a lot to do with his signing with Red Sox

It seems like Hernandez was not the only one inspired. Turner acknowledged that Hernandez had a lot to do with him winding up in Red Sox. When the 2022 season was up, Turner became a free agent. He reportedly did not want to leave Dodgers.

The Red Sox was among the most active clubs that made an offer.  Turner’s former teammates, especially Kike Hernandez were passionate advocates as to why Turner should join their team.

According to Red Sox beat reporter, Ian Browne’s tweet, “Justin Turner acknowledges that Kiké Hernández was front and center in Boston’s recruiting push and admits his former and now current teammate had a lot to do with him winding up with Sox.”

This exciting adventure and reuniting with several of his former teammates can turn a new page in Turner’s story in the world of baseball.
