The whole world watches and listens when Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez come together. Reason? Their rivalry and friction-filled history with each other back in their heyday. The topic of the two of them coming together despite their initial clashes has come up again. This time the Captain was clear – “people need to put it to bed”.

Well, it has been intriguing to see the two New York Yankees legends together on the same screen displaying a mature camaraderie. Years after their friction-filled relationship, the two of them seem to have buried the hatchet. Despite that, fans still seem to be more interested in their relationship rather than their personal relationships. “That’s scary”.

In a recent talk show with Bloomberg Originals that came out on their YouTube channel, Jeter addressed the matter about his relationship with Rodriguez. Not only did he clear the air, but also revealed the nugget that, “I get asked more about our relationship than I do my wife.”

This is how it started. Speaking of Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez coming together to work as the legendary duo yet again makes one wonder, “how’s this gonna go between these two?” Because, there’s history and to that the former responded “people need to put it to bed. I think at some point, I mean, Jesus, this was 20 something years. I’ve known him for 30 years, you know what I mean?” The 49-year-old added further, “I mean, it’s just put it to bed. Yeah. I mean, we said we’re fine. We’re working together again. You know, you can’t change history, history happened.”

When two power packed performers come together on the same platform carrying a relationship with cracks in it, fans tend to wonder if their relationship has healed. And the 48-year-old added some perspective about how their partners felt about them working together again. He shared, “What’s funny, our partners, Hannah and Jac, I, I think they’re happy that we’re, we’re in this place.” This is not the first time the shortstop has spoken up about his relationship with his 14x All-Star teammate.
