Boston Red Sox, Yankees? long-standing arch nemesis had a tough time keeping up their spot in the AL East series. To top it up some Yankees stars made it ruthless for their Red Sox counterparts.?

Battling for the fourth spot in the American League East series, the Bombers became the talk of Beantown for winning 3 out of 4 in Boston. The air was grim for Boston, but Yankees fans applauded for one of their most pivotal wins.?

On Thursday, the New York Yankees beat the Boston Red Sox in Boston 8-5 to sweep a doubleheader. Incredible performances by Aaron Judge, DJ LeMahieu and Oswald Peraza pulled the Yankees to a competitive 4th position. Though not a good enough rank, they played well enough to put their rival in the bottom of the AL East.?

Judge hit a grand slam and infielder DJ LeMahieu with an RBI double, broke the eighth-inning tie. Oswald Peraza awed fans by hitting his first career homer. In the ninth inning, he made a two-run shot for the Yankees (74-73). Peraza said, ?Incredible moment right there for me. We wanted those runs in that inning?. The Yankees? stellar show of action was more than enough to start a fan tweet flurry.?
