Conor McGregor’s Coach And Other MMA Names React To Patricio Freire’s Brutal KO At Bellator 252

Patricio Freire stopped yet another promising featherweight contender to further assert his dominance over the featherweight division. ‘Pitbull’ was matched up against Pedro Carvalho in the quarterfinals of the Bellator featherweight Grand prix tournament. 

Freire dominated from the first bell. He had Carvalho rocked multiple times in the first round before knocking him out. Leading up to the finish, ‘Pitbull’ caught Carvalho with an overhand right. As ‘The Game’ was retreating, a perfectly timed left hook dropped him to the ground and the referee immediately stepped in to call the fight. The MMA community took to Twitter to react to the stoppage victory.

Luke Thomas took to Twitter to react to the fight. He called ‘Pitbull’ a “Destroyer of men

James Lynch of Line movement MMA reacted to the fight in was in awe of Freire’s talent. 

Guilherme Cruz of MMA fighting reacted to the fight and the stark difference in talent between Freire and everyone else at featherweight. 

Brett Okamoto of ESPN took to Twitter to applaud the double champion’s technique and power. 

Nolan King shared a video of Emmanuel Sanchez being congratulated. Sanchez previously lost to Freire at Bellator 209. He will fight ‘Pitbull’ in the next round of the tournament. It will be an excellent opportunity to not only avenge his loss but move one step closer to the finals and the grand prize. 

Bellator head honcho, Scott Coker took to Twitter to applaud his superstar fighter.

Undefeated featherweight star AJ McKee took to Twitter to comment about the fight.

The legendary MMA coach John Kavanagh took to Twitter to appreciate Freire’s efforts. Furthermore, he congratulated his adversary on an excellent display.
