

Bellator MMA veteran Joe Schilling was seen getting involved in a vicious altercation with a bar patron in a video that was posted last weekend. Although it’s not clear at this moment when the incident happened and where it took place.

The video had the bar patron talking with his friends. He was standing in the middle of the walkway when Schilling passed by the way.

The Bellator fighter tried to move past him that lead to an altercation. The bar patron seems to have stepped towards the kickboxer that leads to some ferocious punches thrown by the fighter towards him.

The bar patron got knocked out and dropped to the ground as people rushed towards him to check his status. It’s still unknown at this moment if police are involved or not or which place was that. But Schilling has been recently training at Sanford MMA that is in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

Schillings posted the video on his Instagram that got later deleted which didn’t amuse him a bit. He took to Instagram again and responded about the same.

He wrote, “Self-defense is apparently not what this country is about anymore. Don’t trip, I got the video. Love you guys, thanks for the concern and support during my life-threatening experience. Big shout out to The Yard Muay Thai for preparing me for this life-threatening situation.”
This is not the end of it. In a separate post, the kickboxing veteran addressed the issue again and wrote, “if you think I’m going to be the guy to calm everything down, you got me f*cked up. I’m here for the show.”

His antics, though, received a lot of flak from social media users, and the professional record he is holding only added fuel to the fire.

More known for Kickboxing than MMA
An accomplished kickboxer, Schillings was nicknamed ‘Stitch ’em Up’ as he used elbows to cut open his opponents. His MMA record doesn’t seem to show, but he is a decorated kickboxer and Muay Thai fighter.

He won the GLORY middleweight championship tournament in 2013 and also the Muay Thai Association super middleweight championship. Schillings also won three different World Boxing Council Muay Thai titles.
It will be interesting to see what transpires next as his brutal knocking stuff would have got some cops paying attention.
